The Smith's

Tim is an Air Force retiree and is now pursuing his two passions...making God’s love known and spending time in the outdoors. Tim accepted Christ as his personal Savior when he was 6 years old. Through a series of events, he felt the call to become a pastor. Thus in 2005 he was ordained and in 2009 completed a Master of Arts in Religion from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. He has been a Sunday School Teacher, a Youth Pastor and Auxiliary Chaplain. Having been a life long hunter, fisherman and don’t forgetstoryteller, God has truly equipped him to lead an outdoor ministry.

Dawn is also a recent Air Force retiree.  Dawn also became a Christian when she was 6. Her passions are organization, cooking and helping people build relationships through fellowship. So, you can imagine, she likes to have “get-togethers”, but don’t mess up her kitchen! She has served in many positions within her church to include Children’s Committee member, AWANA leader, youth leader, women’s bible study leader and of course, Fellowship Committee Chairman.  Dawn holds a Master's Degree in Post Secondary Education from Troy University.  She is naturally outfitted to be the chief cook and event coordinator for this outdoor ministry.

Zach is an athletic and outdoorsy fifteen year old. He may look like his mother but he acts just like his father.  Zach made a recent profession of faith and is actively involved in his youth group.  As a small child, he had some pretty harrowing health issues but God brought him through all of that and now he has some interesting stories to tell. Zach is now healthy as a horse and loves to play baseball and football.  He thinks his part in this ministry is driving the four-wheeler while Dad plants food plots. Mom thinks we need to pray about that a little more.
